When law meets art

Christian Zschocke conceived and owns the Wundercar Collection. He is a successful transactions lawyer, who is heading the German operation of a global law firm and its Corporate and Business Transactions practice in Frankfurt for over 20 years.

Christian has a high affinity towards cars as well as art and people who want to achieve something in their lives, who have clear goals and pursue them with high dedication and willpower.

I would love to see even more courage, more positive endeavors, more freedom. And that everyone sets his own horizons and goals. Because if you set and achieve your goals, you’re satisfied and happy, and enrich the world” (Christian Zschocke).

For this reason, he came up particularly with the NEW HORIZON project as part of the Wundercar Collection. He wanted to make the world a better place by inspiring people to look at their NEW HORIZONS.

“And once you have that idea, you need something to help you express it. The E3 was a new horizon for BMW: the largest and fastest car, designed to take on the market leader. They really went out on a limb with this car. That seemed to me like a good foundation for the project” (Christian Zschocke)

Beside the NEW HORIZON, the Wundercar Collection consists of four other unique cars, the California, the Group 1, the Inka and the Vision Paul Bracq. Each of the Wundercars was built at the instruction of Christian Zschocke to reflect a particular emotion: art, elegance, racing, sport and leisure, allowing thereby everyone to identify himself with his particular emotional perception. Insofar the Wundercar Collection aims at highlighting the less technical dimension of automobilism and mobility.

The Wundercar Collection has received multiple awards and been internationally acknowledged, with exhibitions in art fairs (Art Miami; Art Karlsruhe), concourses (the Amelia Island; Schwetzingen), motor shows (Seattle; Bodensee Klassik) as well as museums (Museum für Moderne Kunst (Frankfurt); Ultimate Driving Museum (South Carolina); The Petersen Automotive (Los Angeles)),

All Wundercars are based on the BMW E3 model with M30 6 cyl. motor: The New Horizon: 2500 (1969, 2494 ccm, 150 hp) – The California and the Group 1: 2800 (1969, 2788 ccm, 170 hp) – The Inka: E3 3.0s (1973, 2985 ccm, 180 hp) – The Vision Paul Bracq: 3.0si (1976, 2985 ccm, 195 hp).
